Christmas celebration with over 80 attendees on zoom in the time of COVID

Christmas is a wonderful time to celebrate with your loved ones. With the pandemic still lingering on, our volunteers continued to spread love and joy to the children and families. On December 6, 2020, we hosted a zoom Christmas Party which was attended by 85 Flying Young families, guests from the No Limits Social Club and volunteers.

Led live from Frankfurt by master DJ Philipp, the Party started with uplifting Christmas music. Everyone was so looking forward to this extraordinary Party, especially the children who were dressed in Santa costumes. They were just as eager to meet Santa Claus on zoom.

After Desiree Jebsen, our Hosptialler, extended her greetings, everyone happily sang Christmas carols together. The highlight of the event was the appearance of Santa Claus on zoom. Volunteer Philippe viel Castel was Santa for the day and greeted everyone in a joyful spirit.

Desiree said, “We have initiated a fundraising scheme to buy food vouchers as Christmas gifts to the families! This year, these families are facing an extremely difficult time and we hope the gifts will lift up their spirits and bring joy to them this Christmas.”
