CloseThrough its medical, social and humanitarian works, the mission of the Order of Malta is to alleviate the suffering of the sick, the forgotten and all those in need, regardless of their race or religion.
For the last thirty years the Order of Malta has a tradition of holding summer camps for disabled youth aged between 18 to 30. The goals of the camps are to forge a sense of community, promote cultural exchange and help young people to overcome personal barriers.
For the 2021 Asia Pacific Camp, young people with disabilities and volunteers will come together in Australia for a once in a lifetime week of fun, friendship and adventure. Guests from all around the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore will take part.
For our guests with disabilities, the Camp is more than just a break from daily routine. It’s an opportunity to get out in the world and be inspired by what it has to offer.
Interested in Volunteering? We are seeking suitable volunteers to assist at the 2021 Camp to be held in Australia. They may also fill the important positions of Team Leaders for our contingent. This is a fantastic opportunity for energetic, enthusiastic and compassionate volunteers who would like to make a difference by providing support to the young disabled participants and their carers at the camp.
If you are a interested in participating or volunteering at the upcoming camp, please email: info@orderofmalta.org.hk
