The No Limits Social Club celebrates Youth Day online
It has been 4 months since the No Limits Social Club held its last in-person gathering. Project Leaders Sophie and Alfons decided that the ongoing pandemic shouldn‘t stop the partying and last May 4, an online Youth Day celebration was held with 12 young guests and 5 volunteers. Our young friends were very much looking forward to having some fun on zoom. The event kicked off with a catch-up chit-chat on what our young friends had been up to lately. This was followed by a walk down memory lane with a short video of precious moments shared together at past events. Sophie would freeze the video to ask “who’s that?” and everyone had a great time racing each other to be first to shout out the correct name.
The highlight, as always, was the dance session that followed. Alfons, our DJ for the day, had just the right playlist to get everyone on their feet and dancing to the beat.
Very happy mum, Mrs. Mak. said, “My son Charles enjoyed the event very much and had so much fun during the dancing session.”
Everyone is eagerly looking forward to the next event that is tentatively scheduled for the end of June. We are all hoping very hard that we can meet in person by then. Watch this space!
