The Global Fund for Forgotten People kindly invited me to travel with them to Lourdes from London. Travelling and spending time with them at their well-attended stall at the Hotel Solitude allowed me to gain a deeper appreciation for the work of the Fund.

This small but dynamic and highly impactful team is the fund-raising arm for the Order of Malta projects. To date, it has made 542 grants, a number which increases significantly every six months in line with their biannual grant distributions. The Fund also advices grantees on starting new work, scaling up projects and assisting with transformational change.

Their support allows numerous projects across the globe to reach the most disadvantaged communities such as the underprivileged elderly in Latin America, displaced refugees, vulnerable children in Lebanon and our very own Computer Club in Hong Kong plus many many more.
