Christmas joy at the Western District Elderly Community Center

It’s Christmas time!

We couldn’t wait to share the love and joy of the festive season with the elders of the Western District Elderly Community Centre with a party organised by Flying Seniors Project Leaders, Ambrose and Teresa Ng, together last 17 December.

Led by 10 volunteers plus 8 students and teachers from Raimondi College, our guests enjoyed a variety of games including online brain teasers games and arts and crafts. The elders impressed us with their talent in creating an adorable snowman with only two pairs of socks! The party ended with a mini Christmas Carol concert by the Raimondi College students. Everyone had so much fun!

Our Hospitaller, Sophie Mensdorff, said, “There was something for the brain, something for the body and something for the heart. I think everyone enjoyed the day a lot! I sincerely thanks Ambrose and Teresa for organizing such a heartwarming event “.
