Ave Maria in all languages – in remembrance of Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre

Last May 1, representatives from around the world joined together on zoom to sing Ave Maria in their native languages in loving memory of Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre, the Grand Master of the Order of Malta. This special online memorial service, organised by the Lebanese Association, united 32 members from around the world in singing Ave Maria as a dedication to Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre. Dr. Peter Au-Yeung, who represented the Hong Kong Association in this unique musical tribute, said, “it was a great honour to join with others to dedicate this great hymn to our beloved Grand Master. Although we were physically present in different locations, we were all singing with one heart, one mind and one soul in remembering him. The different languages did not separate us but instead united us in sweet harmony.”
