Remembering H.M.E.H. Grand Master Fra Giacomo Dalla Torre

“We learned, with great sadness, of the death on 29th April 2020 of His Most Eminent Highness the Prince and Grand Master Fra’ Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto.

I remember vividly the incomparable warmth and infectious joy with which he greeted members of the Hong Kong delegation last May in Lourdes.

Some of us had never met him before but he spoke as if he had known each of us all his life.

We knew that we were in the presence of a humble and holy man with a heart that was overflowing with the joy of the gospel and Christ’s love. . .

We join in earnest prayer with our brothers and sisters around the world for the repose of the soul of our beloved Fra’ Giocomo. May he rest in the peace of the Lord whom he has served so well.”
