Take the youth with disabilities and their families to AIA Carnival
Helping the young people with disabilities (guests) gain interpersonal relationship and overcome life challenges, No Limits Social Club often organized various kind of fun activities for them. On February 24, Sophie Mensdorff-Pouilly, Project Leader, invited over 40 guests and their families to AIA Carnival held in Central. Ten volunteers of the Order of Malta Hong Kong joined and accompanied the guests to enjoy a fun time at the Carnival such as taking them to the exciting rides, playing the amusing booth games and enjoying the snacks.
With the sponsorship from LKF Group and AIA for the tickets, the guests were so excited to take the carousel and spinning rides. Some guests were also very talented to win prizes by throwing rings or balls to the bottles or boxes. After an hour of exhausted playing time, Sophie has arranged a resting place at the UBS Lounge for the guests and volunteers to take a break and have some snacks and refreshments.
All the guests had a great time. They enjoyed the company of our volunteers and family time with the various amusements at the Carnival.
Corinna, mother of a guest, Yurika, said, “Thanks for the Order of Malta Hong Kong for organizing this event for my daughter and her friend Justin Tan. Justin enjoyed the Carnival and took a lot of rides.”
Sophie said, “I am so happy to see our guests having so much fun at the Carnival. I want to thank our sponsors for offering the tickets for our guests and their families to enjoy the fun and exciting activities at the Carnival, build friendship and relationship and try new and adventurous things, just like everybody else.”
