Every child deserves to enjoy fun, sport games

17/01/2018

Every little child loves games and sport activities.  There is no difference from those mentally handicapped children.  To start the year of 2018, a team of 15 volunteers from Order of Malta Hong Kong gathered at the Caritas Lok Yi Special School on January 17 to spend a fun and joyful time with the boarding students, who seldom have chance to meet people from outside.  The volunteer team, led by Vivian Mock, in collaboration with Caritas Lok Yi School organised some fun and stimulating sport games for the students at the School. The students, ranging from 6 – 18, might not be able to express themselves well and some of them are lack the mobile ability.  Whenever, the volunteers come to visit them, they will show their innocent smiles and excitement when playing the games.

One of the volunteers says, “My heart was melted when they laughed and smiled. It was a very beautiful picture to see them having fun. I am looking forward to the next event and visiting them again”
