The Order of Malta Hong Kong received donation from Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation
The Order of Malta Hong Kong (OMHK), together with other 80 Charitable Organizations, was selected to receive donations from the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation. Mrs. Desiree Jebsen, President of the OMHK, attended the Donation Ceremony on 8 December, jointly hosted by the Sino Group and the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation. After Ms. Nikki Ng’s Opening Remark, Dr Rosanna Wong also gave a speech.
Mrs. Jebsen said, “We are grateful to the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation for the generous support of our projects. We hope to allocate their donation to support our newly launched project, the Horizon Club-North Point, in supporting 20 children from low-income families in the Eastern District. Since September, we have organised 73 fun and interactive activities for the children with over 80 volunteers assisting to equip the children in learning English. The feedback from the parents has been positive as they saw how the children improved in their spoken English while enjoying the sport activities from the Horizon Club.”
