Order of Malta

Grand Chancellor in an interview with Vatican Radio

The Order of Malta may be unfamiliar to most in Hong Kong when in fact we are a 900-year old Order with a Hospitaller tradition to care for the sick, the poor and the forgotten.

Whilst steeped in history and tradition anchored in its charism,  we are also a network of modern humanitarian aid organizations.

At a time when the pandemic has dramatically deepened social and economic inequalities, our core Hospitaller mission is more important than ever.

In his interview, Grand Chancellor Albrecht von Boeselager describes the very concrete steps that the Order of Malta is taking to reduce these inequalities and to restore dignity to those most in need.
