Personal birthday greetings for the Western District elderly

Many seniors are struggling with loneliness as a result of the pandemic, especially those living on their own. To bring love and care to these seniors, our Flying Senior Project leader Teresa Lo, led a team of volunteers on September 17 in preparing personalized colourful birthday cards. The birthday cards included drawings from the children of our Flying Young Project and from youth of the No Limits Social Club.

We thank our 4 volunteers Judy Tung, Yuki Yasukagawa, Ming Lee and also Teresa for adding their own personalized greetings and decorations that made the cards even more special. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Sheung Kung Hui Western District Elderly Community Centre, the birthday cards will be delivered to the celebrants on their respective birthday months along with a food voucher provided by the Centre.
