Fun Sports Day for the Seniors at the Western District Elderly Community Center

Many seniors are still vibrant and very active. Our elderly friends from the Western District particularly enjoying lively sports activities alongside young volunteers. On June 28, eight students and teachers from Raimondi College, joined by our four volunteers, hosted a series of fun sports games for these seniors. The event kicked off with brain teaser games designed by Flying Seniors Project Leaders, Ambrose Ng and Teresa Lo, to boost cognitive function, enhance hand-eye coordination, and foster social interaction. Following the brain teasers, participants enjoyed ball-tossing games and a friendly competition. The day wrapped up with Teresa leading an arts and crafts session, creating a joyful and memorable experience for both the elderly friends and volunteers.
We look forward to the next event on 28 September!. Please stay tuned!
