Celebrating Mother’s Day and sharing a fun time with Flying Seniors

On May 10, 2025, Flying Seniors Project Leaders Ambrose Ng and Teresa Lo hosted a delightful Mother’s Day celebration for the 12 Flying Seniors, joined by students from Raimondi College. Teresa curated engaging activities, including brain-teasing computer games and fascinating historical insights about Kowloon Walled City Park and Kai Tak Sports Park.
The event kicked off with an icebreaker game of spotting differences between two pictures. The seniors consistently outshone the students, swiftly identifying discrepancies with keen eyes and quick wit. Following this, teachers and students led two lively paper cup games, which the seniors mastered with enthusiasm, many eagerly requesting an encore.
After the spirited games, Teresa shared captivating facts about Kowloon City, sparking nostalgic memories, particularly of the pre-1998 airport era. The afternoon concluded with Teresa presenting beautiful flowers to the seniors, wishing them a heartfelt Happy Mother’s Day. Everyone eagerly anticipates the next gathering on June 28!
