Students from Caritas Lok Yi School enjoy the fun way to celebrate Tuen Ng Festival
Every year, students at Caritas Lok Yi School look forward to eating rice dumplings, a traditional food enjoyed during the Tuen Ng Festival (Dragon Boat Festival). To help students learn about the rich history behind this celebration, nine of our volunteers teamed up with the school staff to organize an evening of fun games on 10 June, 2026. The staff even prepared creative props to demonstrate how teams row a dragon boat. Over 30 students gathered in the School Hall, participating with great enthusiasm, unity, and team spirit.
Following the activities, our volunteers helped serve snacks to the students. Later that evening, the school staff prepared traditional rice dumplings for everyone to taste before they returned to their dorms.
