Fun Game Day for the Seniors at the Western District Elderly Community Center

The elderly friends of the Western District enjoyed a joyful afternoon mingling and chatting with enthusiastic young volunteers. On 28 April 2026, the Flying Seniors once again partnered with student volunteers from Raimondi College to organise a lively Game Day at the Western District Elderly Community Centre.
The event began with engaging brain teaser games thoughtfully picked by Flying Seniors Project Leaders Ambrose Ng and Teresa Lo. This was followed by fun physical games led by the students, such as tossing and toilet paper rolling games that sparked friendly competition and plenty of laughter.
A highlight of the afternoon was Teresa’s informative session on the background and significance of Buddha’s Birthday. The day concluded with a creative arts and crafts activity, where Teresa guided participants in folding hand towels into beautiful roses.
Everyone had a wonderful time. We look forward to the next event on 4 July!
