- Home / Annual Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2026
Every year, millions of pilgrims travel to Lourdes, France to pray and seek healing. Going to Lourdes at least once is a traditional obligation for Members of the Order of Malta. Aspirants to the Order are encouraged to make the Pilgrimage, and many do. In keeping with the Order’s long-standing tradition of serving the sick, our members and volunteers will accompany Malades (people who have illness and/or a disability, that makes it difficult for him or her to travel on a Pilgrimage to Lourdes without extra assistance) to Lourdes. We will take care of all of the needs of our Malades including all their meals, daily Masses and prayers, visiting the Baths at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, and shopping in Lourdes. To ensure a high standard of health and safety throughout the journey, all members and volunteers will be required to complete a basic nursing course.
We warmly invite you as a pilgrim to join us and experience the power of Lourdes for yourself. It is an unforgettable and, for many, a life-changing experience.
Accommodation will be in big demand and activities need to be planned in advance with great attention to details. Flights and transfers will also be harder to book if left too late.
If you would like us to secure your air tickets and accommodation, please register by 9 January 2026. We might not be able to guarantee for the travel and accommodation arrangement for late registration. The earlier we register for you, the cheaper the air-tickets we can arrange for you!
What would you do at Lourdes?
You will meet Members and Chaplains from 50 countries, experiencing the Order’s spirituality at its global best. If you plan to bring a Malade to Lourdes, please inform us as early as possible:

The Lourdes Pilgrimage includes:
- International Masses
- The Lourdes Baths
- Candlelight Marian Procession
- Grotto of the Blessed Virgin Mary
- Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction
Suggested Travel Plan:
- Arrive Lourdes by lunch-time, Tuesday, 28th April, 2026.
- Depart anytime Tuesday 5th May, 2026.
- Fly first to Paris then take transit flight to Pau. A shuttle bus will pick us from airport to the hotel in Lourdes. Return home via the same route.
Accommodation:
All of our Pilgrims, Members, volunteers and Malades will stay together at Hotel Jeanne D’ Arc for camaraderie, ease of communication and keeping to schedule. We will manage the flights, the hotel and all the Lourdes events for you.

75 -110€ (HK$584-857) Single Room/night,
