No Limits Social Club

Supporting Young People with Disabilities

In October 2019, the Hong Kong Association of the Order of Malta hosted the Asia Pacific Youth Camp—the third in the regional series. Thirty-three young people with disabilities from across the Asia Pacific region joined approximately 50 young volunteers for four days of engaging activities and outings in Hong Kong, including a visit to Ocean Park, games at a country club, and an exclusive ride on the Peak Tram.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback from both guests and volunteers inspired the launch of the No Limits Social Club, a dedicated programme for young people with disabilities in Hong Kong. This initiative provides a welcoming platform for volunteers to build lasting friendships with participants from the camp while addressing a key challenge: the limited opportunities for young adults with disabilities to socialise with peers in age-appropriate settings due to insufficient spaces and facilities.

The club organises regular activities focused on fun, connection, and personal growth, including dancing, singing, expressive arts workshops, and opportunities to learn new skills—all in a supportive, carefree environment.
